US Marshals search for man with 15 felony arrest warrants

Anyone who gives information leading to Earl Dontia Wiggins' arrest could get a reward of up to $1,000. He is wanted for two violent robberies.

NORFOLK, Va. — The U.S. Marshals need the public's help tracking down a man with 15 felony arrest warrants.

Earl Dontia Wiggins, 30, was charged in two separate violent robberies from 2018, one of which also carries charges of abduction and sodomy.

Wiggins has ties throughout Hampton and Newport News.

His full breakdown of charges:

Newport News Police Department: These charges stem from a May 2018 incident involving an adult female victim.

  • Robbery
  • Abduction
  • Sodomy
  • Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony (three counts)
  • Possession of Firearm by Felon.

Hampton Police Department: These charges stem from a December 2018 incident involving an adult male victim.

  • Robbery
  • Abduction
  • Grand Larceny
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Violent Felon (two counts)
  • Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony (two counts).

Suffolk Police Department

  • Probation Violation, for an underlying assault conviction.

Wiggins is 5'8" tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous by officials.

Anyone who gives information leading to Wiggins' arrest could get a reward of up to $1,000.
