HAMPTON, Va. — Virginia State Police are investigating a shooting on I-664 southbound in Hampton that left a woman injured.
A spokesperson said the crime happened near Aberdeen Road on Monday, a few minutes before midnight.
Investigators said the driver of a red sedan, possibly a Honda, fired gunshots at the victim's car. The woman was sent to a hospital with a gunshot wound. She has been released.
This is still an active and ongoing investigation.
