45 cases of coronavirus in Virginia; 8 in James City County

The number of COVID-19 cases in the state is up to 45. There are eight cases in James City County and four in Virginia Beach.

RICHMOND, Va. — The Virginia Department of Health reports that the number of people in the state who have tested positive for the coronavirus increased to 45. 

Eight of those cases are in James City County and four other cases of COVID-19 are in Virginia Beach.

Fairfax County is the locality with the most cases, standing at 10.

Arlington County has eight cases and Loudoun County has five.

So far, 408 people in Virginia have been tested. On Thursday, when Northam declared a state of emergency, the number of cases in the state stood at 17.
