York-Poquoson deputies ask people to stop committing crimes during coronavirus outbreak

"We will update you when you can return to your normal criminal behavior."

YORK COUNTY, Va. — As the coronavirus outbreak continues, there are many who are trying to keep people upbeat and positive during this difficult time.

That includes deputies with the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office who are asking a favor of their citizens.

Please stop committing crimes.

Deputies posted this humorous PSA on their Facebook page that asks "that all criminal activities/nefarious conduct cease until further notice."

The post also lets people know that they will be updated when they can return to their criminal behavior.
