VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- It's official, the EPA just awarded millions of dollars to a Virginia foundation to research stormwater options.

That is a total of $2.7 million for the Water Environment and Reuse Foundation.

The Foundation will use the grants for water research projects, like controlling stormwater run-off, and improving water conservation. The projects will benefit communities in the Potomac watershed, as well as communities across the country.
