CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVEC) -- Fire officials say there were no injuries following a fire that caused severe damage to a detached garage in Chesapeake on Sunday.

Captain Scott Saunders with Chesapeake Fire tells 13News Now firefighters were called to the 500 block of Stalham Road at 8:53 a.m.

Arriving six minutes later, crews found flames coming from a one-story, detached garage.

The fire was brought under control at 9:10 a.m.

Investigators are working to discover the cause of the fire.
