CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVEC) -- Family and friends gathered Thursday to remember Kaitlyn Duffy, a teenager who died in a crash in Virginia Beach on May 19.

A wake for Duffy took place at her parish, Saint Stephen Martyr Catholic Church, followed by visitation with her family.

Duffy was driving back from the beach with her friend, Sabrina Mundorff. Police said a delivery truck driver crossed the center line and hit them on Indian River Road.

Duffy didn't make it. Mundorff is in the hospital with critical injuries.
