The group claimed on Facebook that Jones was arrested, however, Jones could be later heard saying he had been cited for disrupting vehicles on a roadway.

Across the water in Portsmouth, police shut down several streets in Olde Towne as the Coalition of Black Americans marched peacefully, despite at least one heated conversation.

Organizers say they hope to continue conversations about their communities beyond this march.
