'Destination: Dinosaur' takes over the Virginia Living Museum!

Dinosaurs are back and better than ever!

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) -- Dinosaurs are coming to Newport News. And that includes a life-size T-Rex!

The tyrannosaur was brought to the Virginia Living Museum as part of its new "Destination: Dinosaur" exhibit.

The T-Rex is joined by 10 other animatronic dinosaurs and seven dinosaur-themed experiences.

The exhibit opens May 5, and runs through September 3. It's open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets cost $20 for adults and $15 for children ages 3 to 12. Kids 2 and under get in for free.
