NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) -- Newport News Police Department's South Precinct will host a Coffee with a Cop event on April 17.
From 9 to 11 a.m. at the South Precinct Building located at 3303 Jefferson Avenue officers will be available to speak with community members.
There will be no agendas or speeches, just a chance to enjoy a free cup of coffee and ask questions, voice concerns and get to know officers in local neighborhoods.
Officers will also offer tours of the building during the event.
On March 28, officers from the Newport News Central Precinct hosted a Coffee with a Cop event.
