NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Newport News Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire at an apartment complex Friday morning.
The call came in after 7 a.m. in the 600 block of De Laura Drive.
Crews arrived to heavy fire conditions. Six units were damaged. There were no injuries reported.
Fire officials are still on the scene investigating the origin and cause of the fire.
