NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A female victim has died after she was struck by a train in Newport News Sunday night.
Newport News police said they received the call at 10:36 p.m.
It happened in the area of Campbell Lane and Campbell Rd. When police got there, they found the victim. They pronounced her dead at the scene.
The victim's identity is unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
