NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police say a boy is recovering after he was shot on Friday afternoon.
The shooting happened around 1 p.m. in the 2300 block of Birch Street, just off of Cape Henry Avenue. The boy, whose age has not been released, was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The shooting is under investigation, and police ask that if you know anything, to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
