NORFOLK, Va. — USS Wisconsin in Norfolk is celebrating its 75th anniversary, and starting July 19 the 'Dames at Sea' will be performing aboard the ship.
The Hurrah Players presents Broadway's tap-dancing sensation. It's a nautical tale of love and adventure on the high seas!
The musical is a parody of large, flashy 1930s Busby Berkeley-style movie musicals in which a chorus girl, newly arrived off the bus from the Midwest to New York City, steps into a role on Broadway and becomes a star.
This high energy show is fun for the whole family! Performances will be on the back of the Wisconsin, using Norfolk’s historic battleship as the perfect backdrop for this charming musical.
