Dickens’ 'Christmas Towne' comes to Norfolk's Waterside

The holiday village sits in the Decker Half Moone Center, where visitors can walk and enjoy strolling carolers, and photos with Father Christmas.

Charles Dickens’ "Christmas Towne" is open at Nauticus in Norfolk through December.

To commemorate the 175th anniversary of Dickens’ "A Christmas Carol" every young visitor will get a free copy of the classic book throughout the season.

Visitors will also enjoy “The Art of Christmas” – the first-ever U.S. exhibition of original book sketches by Christmas Carol illustrator P.J. Lynch.
