NORFOLK, Va. — Friday marked the return of Match Day for Eastern Virginia Medical School, where graduating medical students found out where they'll do their residency.

During the months leading up to Match Day, the students interviewed at residency programs in their chosen specialty. But it's not until Match Day that they learn where they're going to spend their residency.

As part of an EVMS tradition, the students come together in a large auditorium at the school to learn their fate.

The event is full of fun and emotion, with family and friends on hand to witness the drama.
