NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk Botanical Garden is hosting its 6th annual Butterfly Festival July 13!

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in partnership with the Butterfly Society of Virginia.

Guests will be able to enjoy demonstrations, gardening workshops, and fun activities for butterfly enthusiasts of all ages. Visitors can also enjoy food vendors, children’s activities, face painting, a beanbag toss, and several craft stations.

The Garden is continuing its message to save the Monarch butterfly with Mission Monarch: Project Milkweed which focuses on the life and issues of the monarch butterfly population. 

The Butterfly Festival is FREE with Garden admission and will take place in the Garden's Bristow Butterfly Garden.
