NORFOLK, Va. — Police were on the scene of a shooting in Ghent Monday afternoon.
Officers said emergency dispatchers received a call about the shooting at 12:55 p.m. It happened in the 1700 block of Hampton Blvd. That's where Hampton intersects Brandon Avenue.
Police said a man was hurt and taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
