Norfolk police investigating double shooting off Sewells Point Road

Police said the men were sitting inside a parked car off Sewells Point Road when another man approached the vehicle and shot them.

NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police are investigating a double shooting that left one man seriously hurt Saturday.

The call came in around 10:30 p.m. in the 7100 block of Sewells Point Road. 

Officers didn't find any victims at the crime scene. Two men, ages 29 and 31, arrived at DePaul Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. The men were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

The 29-year-old man had minor injuries and is expected to be OK.

The 31-year-old man is stable but has serious injuries, police said.
