NORFOLK, Va., (WVEC) -- Old Dominion University's Alumni Association will host the second annual Monarch Cobia Classic July 19 to July 21.
The event is in partnership with the Marina at Marina Shores in Virginia Beach.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the ODU Alumni Association Scholarship Fund and the ODU student fishing club.
Entry fees are $500 per boat for two days and $300 for a single day.
The tournament ends with a Dock Party on July 21, at 6 p.m., at Marina Shores with live music by BJ Griffin and the Galaxy Groove and special guests the Redskins Cheerleaders and Darcizzle Offshore.
Guests not registered for the tournament can purchase tickets to the Dock Party for $50.
