Police: Two teens arrested after 7-Eleven stickups, armed with shotgun, rifle

Detectives have charged a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy with multiple felonies in connection with robberies.

NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police have arrested two teens connected with a string of 7-Eleven robberies.

The first robbery happened around 2:20 a.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 6900 North Military Highway. Two young men -- one armed with a shotgun and the other armed with a rifle -- entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.  The clerk complied with their demands, the suspects fled on foot.

Then around 2:45 a.m., the same two suspects robbed a second 7-Eleven, located at 1511 East Little Creek Road.

Officers said no one was hurt in either robbery.

Detectives have charged a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy with multiple felonies in connection with robberies. The juveniles, whose names have not been released, are currently being held in the Norfolk Juvenile Detention Center.
