PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The 'Golden Girls' are looking for a new forever home!

Ruff Road Pet Rescue in Portsmouth posted on Facebook saying they have taken in Dorothy, Rose, and Blanche after their owner passed away.

The sweet gals enjoy the finer things in life, of course! They like tummy rubs, gentle pats, kind words, and lounging on the sofa.

The shelter said they are great with other dogs, cats, and adult humans. However, they don’t know if they have met kids. The trio is spayed and will receive vetting and microchips soon.

The shelter does not want to break the girls up, so they plan on adopting or fostering the girls out together.

Rose is 12-years-old, Dorothy is 10-years-old, and Blanche is 8-years-old.

The shelter said they have received a lot of applications, and they expect the 'Golden Girls' to be adopted out by the weekend.
