PORTSMOUTH, Va. — One man is dead after a shooting on Saturday evening.
According to Portsmouth Police, the incident happened in the 1200 block of Frederick Boulevard.
According to emergency dispatchers, the shooting occurred around 6:25 p.m.
The department said a man was seriously hurt and taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
