PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Portsmouth fire crews and Navy personnel extinguished a fire inside a commercial building Friday morning.
The crews responded after 2 a.m. at 2 Victory Boulevard after a fire started inside a shredder, Deputy Fire Chief Nestor Mangubat said in a news release.
The building was evacuated and no one was injured.
Officials said the fire was marked under control at 03:11 a.m.
Navy E21 personnel assisted Portsmouth fire crews.
