Suffolk police have arrested a person connected to an attempted armed robbery at a Subway restaurant.
The crime took place in the 6500 block of Hampton Roads Parkway on Monday night.
Emergency Communication received the 911 call around 9:19 p.m.
An officer responded around 9:30 p.m. to the McDonald’s restaurant located in the 6200 block of College Drive related to a report of a male suspect at that location who had attempted to rob the Subway restaurant.
Officers detained 26-year-old Cameron Mitchell Hall and placed him under arrest.
Police said Hall entered the Subway, showed a note demanding money, and displayed an object that was thought to be a gun.
No injuries were reported, and no additional information has been released.
