SUFFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Police have arrested a 25-year-old woman accused of a hit-and-run more than two months ago that left one woman dead.

Cory Ann Jones faces a slew of charges including felony homicide, involuntary manslaughter, hit and run personal injury, aggressive driving, reckless driving, excessive speed, failure to wear seatbelt and two counts of improper passing on double solid line.

Jones is being charged in connection with a hit-and-run crash that took place on Sept. 27 in the 1400 block of Holland Road.

The driver who died at the scene was identified as 46-year-old Tara Parham.

Jones is currently being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail
