VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) — Virginia State Police said a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 264 is now being handled as both a criminal investigation and death investigation.
The wreck happened shortly before 10 a.m. on I-264 West, west of First Colonial Road in Virginia Beach.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found two people dead inside the vehicle. The circumstances surrounding their deaths are not being released at this time.
Troopers said the investigation is active and ongoing.
