VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Crews have put out a car fire in Virginia Beach.

Dispatch says the call came in around 5:50 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find what appears to be an SUV fully engulfed in flames at Expressway Drive, near Mount Trashmore.

No injuries are reported at this time. Firefighters tell us the cause is under investigation but, it may be electrical in nature. The fire took longer than usual to be put out, because the flames did reach the vehicle's gas tank.
