VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- A Wells Fargo in Virginia Beach was robbed Monday afternoon.
According to police, they received a call around 2:40 p.m. in reference to a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo located at 1068 Independence Boulevard.
The suspect entered the business, demanded money, and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police describe the suspect as a man in his 20's to 30's standing at about 5'7" to 5'8" tall with a medium build. He has a short haircut and a light beard and mustache.
He was seen wearing a zip-up sweatshirt, with a "graffiti print" t-shirt underneath, a dark colored baseball cap with white writing on the front and sunglasses.
