OCRACOKE, N.C. — Right now, you can weigh in on a plan to protect the shoreline on Ocracoke Island.
Environmental studies show the northern end of the island is starting to erode, which is near where the NCDOT ferries dock.
North Carolina is proposing the construction of a steel sea wall that would span 1,000 feet.
