NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) —
Three men were arrested when Newport News narcotics officers performed a drug bust on a hotel.
After getting a search warrant, Newport News police searched a room at the Newport News Innlocated in the 12800 block of Jefferson Avenue on Dec. 10 and found ammunition, a synthetic stimulant called Flakka, suspected cocaine, pills, suspected heroin bags and needles.
Police arrested the renter of the room, 24-year-old Sean Tyler Shields of Hayes, Virginia, and charged him with three counts of possession with intent to distribute schedule I and II drugs, possession of schedule IV drugs, and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
Cody Jacob Shields, 23 of Hayes, Virginia was arrested and charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute schedule I and II drugs and possession of schedule IV drugs. Jeremy Forrest, 26, of Newport News was arrested on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.
A Mercedes Benz was also taken as part of the investigation.
