The Department of Game & Inland Fisheries is offering 'Free Fishing days' in June!
On June 7 to 9 anyone in Virginia can fish in public waters with a rod and reel without a fishing license. That's in freshwater and saltwater.
To find out where to fish, click here. It gives friends and families the opportunity to go boating and fish, or to teach someone how to fish.
The Department of Game & Inland Fisheries is hosting several events across the state during the 'Free Fish Days' to help individuals get started with demonstrations, tackle boxes, and loaner gear.
