"Just another sleepy day in Wachapreague. Taylor Hicks, Season 5 winner of American Idol and restaurateur stopped in to film an episode of his show “State Plate” airing on Insp channel! Good times!" the restaurant posted on its Facebook page.

"State Plate" is a food travel show where Hicks makes his way across the U.S. putting together meals "that represent each state’s most historic, famous, and tastiest foods," according to the show's website.

This past weekend, Hicks visited Rehoboth Beach boardwalk and Delaware farms for another upcoming episode of his show. During his trip, he got a taste of boardwalk fries about two hours from Rehoboth Beach and watermelon at some Delaware farms.

In 2017, Hicks visited Maryland for an episode of "State Plate." For dessert, he took a trip to Smith Island to try the infamous Smith Island Cake.

The show's Maryland episode aired in season two. The third season of "State Plate" will air this fall with the last 14 states in Hicks' nationwide food tour.

"State Plate" airs Mondays at 7:30 p.m. on INSP.
