VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The organizers call it an “epic event with live bands, single-fin surfing and intermittent vibe curation.”
In its eighth year, "Logstradamus" continues to gain momentum at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
It’s an injection of positivity, even laughter, as costumed surfers take to the water to catch waves as part of a unique annual surf contest.
It started small almost a decade ago as a hangout among friends.
This year, the event has official sponsors- Vans and Wave Riding Vehicles.
Friday night features interactive art installations. Saturday is the costumed surf contest. Sunday is what organizers call an “Expression Session” - all of it intertwined with local and regional musicians.
