The Virginia Zoo opens 'World of Reptiles'

The Virginia Zoo's 'World of Reptiles' is finally open!

NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- The Virginia Zoo's 'World of Reptiles' is finally open!

The new 'World of Reptiles' is much larger, it has improved the visitor amenities and doubled the number of animal exhibits. The facility is now 13,000 square feet of creepy, crawling reptiles.

The adventures await in the state-of-the-art overhaul of the reptile building.

Just a few of the creatures on display include King Cobras, Magnificent Tree Frog, New Caledonian Giant Gecko, Red-Eyed Tree Frog, Sailfin Dragon, and so many more.

The new building also includes a floor-to-ceiling crocodile marsh.
