Waterside District in Norfolk, Power Plant in Hampton partner with Lyft

The Cordish Companies, which owns Waterside District and Power Plant at Hampton Roads said it entered into a national, multi-year partnership with Lyft.

NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) — Lyft partnered with The Cordish Companies, owner of Waterside District and Power Plant at Hampton Roads, in a national, multi-year partnership. The deal makes Lyft the exclusive rideshare partner at the locations in Norfolk and Hampton as well as other Cordish properties. Those include Power Plant Live! in Baltimore and Xfinity Live! in Philadelphia.

“We are incredibly excited to announce this national, multi-year partnership with Lyft,” stated Reed Cordish, Principal, The Cordish Companies. “Lyft is one of the most successful rideshare companies in the country. This partnership ensures the safety and convenience of our millions of guests are met at the highest standards.”

More than 50 million people visit the five dining, entertainment, and sports-anchored developments owned by The Cordish Companies each year.

More information about the rideshare program at each location will be released in the coming months.
