VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.- It was hoops for a good cause at Virginia Wesleyan University on Saturday. The 2nd annual Joy Fund All-Star Classic had some of the best area senior girls and boys players. All proceeds from the games benefit the Virginian-Pilot Joy Fund Foundation. It's a nonprofit organization that provides toys to underprivileged children in Hampton Roads. In the early game, the West was led by game MVP, Reagan Jackson of Grassfield as they won over the East squad 65-49.
The boys game saw the Public Schools cruise past the Private Schools 100-69. Salem's, Jonathan Norfleet had 17 points in the win as he also took home game MVP.
