The Norfolk Admirals were sitting pretty with a 3-1 lead midway through the final period against Florida on Wednesday night. In the end, it was the Everblades giving thanks for a 4-3 come from behind win.
Norfolk built the lead on the strength of goals from Darik Angeli, Kenton Helgeson and Grant Bessie. Angel's goal was on a penalty shot in the second period.
The Admirals were coming off a rare win and hoping to make it a modest two game win streak. They'll have to their next shot on Friday at Scope again with the Everblades.
Norfolk falls to (4-12-1-0) on the season.
