NORFOLK, Va. — With a win in the region semifinal, you earn your way to the state tournament. On the boys side in Class 6A, Oscar Smith and Landstown are moving on.
The Tigers beat Granby 73-52. The Eagles coasted past Western Branch 76-48.
For the girls, Ocean Lakes and Western Branch are headed states. The Dolphins won a close one over Kellam 61-58. Western Branch beat Landstown 61-43.
The Class 6A region finals are Monday night at Scope.
