NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- It's new, but yet it has a touch of familiarity to it.
The Norfolk Admirals unveiled the team's new logo in a press conference on Thursday. The old battleship logo is retired, and in its place, the ECHL hockey team will now sport an anchor with five stars on a yellow field.
If you're getting a sense of deja vu, the new logo harkens back to the team's very first logo from 1989, but with the colors inverted. You can see the team's previous logos in a tweet that teased to the team's new era:
