WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Brianna Behm connected on a goal :24 seconds into a second overtime as Jamestown won over Monacan 3-2 in the Class 4 state quarterfinals on Tuesday. The win sends the Eagles to the state semifinals for the 2nd time in the last 3 seasons.
Jamestown found themselves down twice in the game. In the first half, Abigail Merchant tied the game at 1-1 going into halftime. They would trail again in the second half, and when Caroline Liebler scored with just over two and a half minutes left in regulation. Jamestown improves to 15-3-2. Joining them will be Kellam who won over Colonial Forge 2-0 in the Class 6 quarterfinals.
