NORFOLK, Va. — There was no miraculous comeback this time. Once again, Maury had a 20 point lead with 6 minutes to go. It was a similar scenario to the first time they met Granby this year. The Comets stunned Maury in overtime in that game. This time, the Commodores never let Granby off the deck and went on to post a 76-58 win.
It was a four point Maury lead at halftime and then Chase Coleman turned on the magic. He finished with a game high 18 points. Clarence Rupert added 16 and 8 rebounds in the Commodores win.
