HAMPTON, Va.- In conditions that could be best described as a quagmire at Darling Stadium, the Phoebus Phantoms found a way. Down 6-0 in triple overtime, quarterback Chris Daniels found senior, Barry Hargraves to tie the game at 6-6. It was then left up to fellow senior, Anthony Wallace to kick the game winning extra point as they won 7-6 over Norcom to win the Class 3A Region title on Saturday. Phoebus now moves on to next week's state semifinals where they'll host Culpeper County. The Phantoms improve to 12-1 while the Greyhounds season ends as the region runner up and a record of 8-5.
