As Lake Taylor was going after its 4th state title in 7 seasons, it was Woodgrove who doused the Titans chances and got their first championship in Class 4A with a 38-33 win on Saturday. Lake Taylor got a pair of touchdowns from running back Malik Newton and quarterback, Jeffery Foster as they finished the season with a record of 13-2. "The whole time I thought we had a chance to get back in it", said Titans head coach, Hank Sawyer. "That's life sometimes. You're just going to come up short".
