Verizon Wireless just introduced its ultra-fast 5G network to different areas of Hampton Roads.
This service allows for massive capacity, a huge boost in data speeds and ultra-low latency. The carrier has already launched the service in more than 30 cities with plans to continue expanding to more regions.
There's a slight drawback to the rollout. iPhone users, unfortunately, won't have immediate access to the 5G network.
Verizon also has plans to roll out the 5G Home Internet Service, which will be launched at a later time.
