NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- All lanes of traffic on Eastbound Interstate 64 are back open in the Ocean View section of Norfolk, after a crane truck went off the road earlier Thursday morning.
The accident happened at about 11:17 a.m. at Mile Marker 272, just prior to Willoughby Spit. Virginia State Police brought in four heavy duty wreckers to pull the crane truck back onto the road and into an upright position.
All lanes of the interstate were shut down at one point, but as of 12:30 p.m., traffic is back and flowing smoothly.
