You've been waiting for relief and Sunday was the day you'd been asking us for. Humidity was lower, meaning more comfortable conditions. We saw low to mid 70s with lots of sunshine today. By morning, we wake up to 50s to start off June.
We had high pressure in control of the weather today and it continues to determine our weather for a couple of more days. Monday brings daily high temperatures to near 70° and into the 70s for some. Breeziness subsides Monday before picking up again Tuesday.
Nearly everyday this week brings low rain chances. That doesn't mean we have a washout everyday but rather that showers (and even some storms on a couple of days) are possible some neighborhoods.
Tomorrow will be cool again but it's also the bottom of the warming trend. Looks like we'll see a few 90s this week. With those summer-like temperatures comes summer-like humidity as well so don't forget to stay hydrated.
TROPICS: The system known as Invest 92L is no longer worth watching and our focus shifts to the Bay of Campeche near the Yucatan Peninsula. We'll need to keep an eye on what's left of Tropical Storm Amanda (which formed in the Eastern Pacific basin). The leftovers from that storm could actually reform in the Bay of Campeche (in the Atlantic Basin), becoming another tropical system.
