The end is near!  The end of oppressive heat around Hampton Roads.

A cold front will pass from late morning through the afternoon.  It will trigger areas of rain and potentially strong to severe thunderstorms.  But behind the front, cooler (and eventually drier) air will move in for the remainder of the week.

General rain totals of 1-2 inches are expected although locally higher amounts are possible.

Behind the front as high pressure builds, we will enjoy several days of sunshine.

A few stray showers are possible Wednesday, and Thursday will be partly sunny, but you can look forward to mostly sunny skies Friday through Sunday with highs in the mid 80s!
