Dangerous heat continues to build across the mid-Atlantic region Wednesday. The warm southwest flow will push temperatures into the mid to upper 90s.  Add in the humidity, and it will feel like it is between 103° and 107° during the afternoon.  There could be a few isolated showers or storms popping up late in the day, and into the evening.

Overnight lows will stay in the upper 70s.  And there is no significant relief from the heat coming soon.  Highs Thursday will climb back into the mid 90s.  Isolated to scattered showers and storms will be more likely.

The heat will continue through the upcoming weekend and into early next week with highs staying in the mid 90s.  Temperatures should return to near normal by next Tuesday.
