We're kicking off the week on the same note we carried through the past weekend, sunshine and warmth. Sunny skies to start the day will lead to increasing clouds as we head towards the afternoon and evening ahead of an approaching cold front. Breezy conditions out of the south will help temperatures max out around 70° this afternoon.

Showers arrive this evening and continue overnight as the front moves through. It will become windy, first out of the southwest and then shifting to northwest overnight, gusts over 30mph are likely. Colder air funnels in and tomorrow will be a shock to the system. An early morning shower Tuesday leads to a rapid clearing, windy and cold, highs in the middle to upper 40s. This is where we will be the coldest because onwards we begin to moderate once again.

Tonight into tomorrow is our only rain chance this week. Sunny, dry and eventually warmer weather builds in quickly and by next weekend we're looking at temperatures back in the 70s.
